Nile Wilson Gymnastics
Our Gymnastics Residential Camp, delivered in partnership with Nile Wilson Gymnastics, offers a world-class training experience for young gymnasts who want to challenge themselves, improve technique, and build confidence in a dynamic and supportive environment.


Our Programme
The Nile Wilson Gymnastics Residential Course is designed to support squad gymnasts to achieve their personal best. The course provides a comprehensive training programme that fosters growth, development, and a love for gymnastics.
Nile Wilson Gymnastics Residential is a residential gymnastics camp for squad and squad aspiring children and teenagers aged 10-17.
Hosted at Worksop College, a leading UK boarding school, the camp combines high-quality accommodation with daily coaching at Nile Wilson Gymnastics Centres off-site.
Participants train alongside English students, creating a unique and inspiring cultural exchange through shared learning and social activities.This course is designed specifically for Women’s and Men’s Artistic Gymnasts meeting the following criteria:
- Minimum Age: Gymnasts must be 10
- Development or Performance Grades Gymnasts (WAG).

Pre-requisite Skills:

All: Round-off flick tuck back on fast track, giant and upstart on a metal bar, handspring over the vault (any height).

WAG: Beam skills must include a back walkover and working towards a flick.

MAG: Circle on mushroom, inlocate and dislocate on rings, and swing to handstand on parallel bars.

Expert Coaching: The gymnastics is led by experienced coaches who bring a wealth of knowledge from competitive and recreational
gymnastics. They provide technical guidance and personalised feedback to help gymnasts improve their skills, technique,
and overall performance.
Workshops: In addition to hands-on training, gymnasts will take part in educational workshops on strength and conditioning, artistry and mental skills training. This will include topics such as goal setting, mental focus, imagery and motivation.
Sessions are delivered at NWG Centres in Mansfield and Rotherham, in age and ability groups to get the best out of their time with us! All travel is included from the residential setting to the NWG Centres.
6-night programme (Sunday-Saturday)
Arrive 16:00-16:30 Sunday – depart 11:30 Saturday
4 full days of gymnastics training, coaching, and Wednesday workshops.
3-night programme (Sunday-Wednesday)
Arrive 16:00-16:30 Sunday – depart 19:00 Wednesday
2 full days of gymnastics training, coaching, and Wednesday workshops.
Equipment:
All gymnasts are expected to bring their own handguards, gloves and loops and any other training aids that they usually use.
Your stay includes:

Dormitory or single-room accommodation.

3 buffet-style meals per day.

Minimum of 5 hours per day (excluding workshop Wednesday) of gymnastics coaching, led by qualified instructors at a Nile Wilson Gymnastics Centre.

A star guest workshop with Olympic medallist Nile Wilson.

English tuition through daily, age-appropriate sports theory sessions (topics include sports nutrition, psychology, journalism, and marketing).

Integration with English students in all training and social sessions.

A competition day experience with pre-competition interviews.

Organised evening activities supported by our experienced pastoral team.

The course is open to English speaking children so you will be mixing with UK based students during your stay offering genuine integration opportunities to practice English whilst developing your performance running ability.
Our programmes are designed for young people who want more than just a holiday...they want to grow, train and achieve. Led by expert coaches and tutors, including current and former professionals, each course provides high-level, structured coaching that supports real development and progression in the chosen sport or activity.

All courses are open to both international and UK-based students, creating a diverse and dynamic atmosphere where young people train side by side, learn from one another, and form lasting connections, giving everyone the opportunity to share experiences and develop together.
Learn English Through Sport and Leadership Theory:
Our theory and leadership sessions take the place of traditional English language classes during each week day morning, offering an immersive English language experience.
Mix and Match your Programmes:
Our programmes are delivered as 6 and 13-night stays. We also offer a flexible experience for students where they can choose to take part in different courses on each week of their stay.

Set in the heart of North Nottinghamshire’s stunning countryside, Worksop College is a co-educational independent school with a rich history dating back to the 19th century.
Worksop College has eight boarding houses, with just over 500 beds combined. Each house has its own kitchen, dining room and recreation room, along with rooms that sleep between 1 and 8 guests.
